To stay in our house is to enjoy magnificent nature. The river Ourthe gently undulates along our garden and you can hear the wind rustling through the trees. All five bedrooms have beautiful beds. One bathroom has a shower and bath, the other just a bath. There's a large living room with a large table for comfortable eating, playing or reading. The window offers a beautiful view of the large wild garden and the Ourthe river. The terrace offers a magnificent view of the Saint-Thibaut chapel. The accommodation is centrally located for a variety of activities. For fishing, just head out into the garden. Hiking and biking trails are just around the corner. Kayaking and other outdoor activities are available nearby. But there's no shortage of cultural activities either. We'll be happy to advise you. Please have a look at our 'surroundings' page.

Marcourt is a very pretty village with an interesting history that's well worth a visit. First of all, discover its heritage, including the chapel and hermitage of Saint Thibault, while learning about the legend of the Berger de Mousny, a character whose legend is linked in particular to the path to the chapel! To continue exploring the village, the church and the Spanish house are well worth a visit to learn more about the history of the area. Strolling through the village, you'll also discover plenty of beautiful scenery, especially when you're at altitude and encounter breathtaking panoramas. We highly recommend discovering the surrounding area on foot, for some pleasant surprises. In addition to Marcourt itself, the village is close to several other places worth visiting, such as Durbuy and La Roche-en-Ardenne. In addition to hiking, there are a variety of other activities on offer, including bike rides for the pleasure of feeling the wind against you, kayaking to get even closer to the Ourthe, which runs through the village, museum visits to calm the pace a little, and visits to parks and caves for even more discoveries. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars where you can have a good time in the warmth and try out everything on offer!
Access to the property is by car, and there's a parking available. The easiest and quickest way to get around is by car, but you can also take advantage of the countryside to go for walks or bike rides (if you have them).
